What you are doing here is truly amazing. When I was
16 years old there was nobody around like this to help and despite
becoming a psychologist myself, the pain of what the WTB&TS
did has affected my life even until today. I don't know if I will
ever really "get over it" per se, I think I have just
learned to accept it. I wish you all the best in your hard work.

I think that the lawyers for the victims should request
letters from former JW's backing them on the Hush Hush the Elders
put on members. I remember being a child in the JW religion and
my mother telling me that JW do not go to the law. That they handle
things thru the elders and WTBS. That it looks bad if any JW has
a legal issue ( gets arrested etc. ) I'd write a letter. Who'd
I send it to though. I remember. I am disfellowshipped myself now.
But I can only imagine the pain that these silent lambs must have
gone thru and still endure. Although I never heard of anything
like that in the congregation I was in, I do remember the HUSH
HUSH. It's sooooo true.

I have heard of this before, and I am glad someone is
doing something about it.
It is written somewhere in the Psalms that God has exalted His
word above His Name. Sounds to me like that means He is more
pleased with those who do His will than those who give lip service
praise to His Name while they violate His moral laws.
Sounds to me like the Watchtower Society has falsely abrogated
to itself the identity of being "the true and faithful servant," a
term I think applies primarily to Jesus the Messiah Himself,
anyway. (They also have an interesting track record of failed
predictions and changes in doctrine, less explosive than the Mormons
but still there, so much for their being the one true and proper
interpreter of Scripture, eh?)

This is in reply to Carolina. . . . . . May I ask you after
reading so many stories why you are not willing to believe? If
you are interested in facts most people who have been abused or
molested only have their word to go on. I was physically abused
as a child and by the time I had the nerve to say something all
my bruises were healed. I wasn't lying even though I did not have
proof. You are very right to say that no one is perfect and there
might be discrepancies but not this many. Honey if you are reading
this and are a JW then you are scared but please OPEN YOUR EYES.
I know how it feels to be in a "safe" place but it is
only an illusion. I was their and was one, I am not an apostate
and do not bad mouth the JW's but have found too many inconsistencies
with their teachings and do believe they are harboring child molesters.
I am not saying they are the only group who does but I do not know
enough about any other religion to voice my opinion. Please don't
take this as mean I am only trying to shed some insight. If I can

You all seem to put much weight on the police and the
courts Because a person is convicted in court, does not mean that
a person is guilty. Remember that a jury also believes in Santa
Claus, the trinity, etc. If they believed evidence they would be
serving Jehovah God with the rest of the Witnesses. But the jury
is not so they do not believe in evidence, they follow emotions.
Juries make mistakes and prosecutors and police are doing jobs
that they get employment benefits from getting convictions. It
is not about truth.

This is just another site of apostates with a medium
and a message that people put their emotions into.
Rather than take this course, i. e. worrying about police law
enforcement and child services, why not do some real good such
as actually protecting people whom you think are victims rather
than just blaming people. People should not be alone with others
who can claim abuse. If people are allowed to be alone with others
then that is where the fault lies, not in any later telling or
not telling.

rather than continually following the same pattern of people
saying" I was abused as a child", I want to know why
aren't children themselves doing anything rather than years later
saying that.
The parents and children should be doing something to prevent
it before it happens and while it happens rather than talking
about them harboring predators. It seems to me that this subject
is just a nice thing to complain about, after the fact, must
after.

I answered carolina privately and offered further reasoning
on this issue, she has chosen not to respond. This appears to be
the response of many, to offer criticism make slanderous accusations
and stay anonymous or not respond. This website is about the TRUTH,
it speaks up for victims and gives them the right to speak out
and find healing.
Misinformed ones continue to minimize the pain of those who
suffer and act like they are lying. I hope for your children's
sake that molestation never becomes an issue in your families.
I hope at the same time you learn to have compassion for the
silentlambs that are victimized by people like you.

Hooray!! Just got a copy of the lawsuit to read. Thank
you for printing it for all to read. Thank you, Bill and Jeff,
for standing up to protectively cover and shield us when the Watchtower
Society and its elders refused to. Thank you for standing beside
us instead of abandoning us as so many others have. Thank you for

I asked the Society to protect me in a matter. They sent me what,
in my opinion, was a "garbage letter" and said they couldn't

I'm a German JW and also serving as an elder. In the
course of 20 years I never faced a child molestation in our cong.
I just heart about two cases of JW's which have been charged with
molestation.
I'm very concerned about this website, because visitors get
the feeling that child abuse is a common thing in the JW's community.
But this is absolutely wrong. There may have been molestations
and probably there will in future. Elders don't stop victims
from going to police.

it never looked at all healthy. I have 2 sisters in the "Truth".
My father was for years raping another sister whilst in study of
the JW good news. (more than 20 years ago). I really am sickened
by the hypocrisy of the hierarchy, and sickened that it's converts
are too brain-washed to see it.

lives of their followers. I am a survivor of sexual abuse (ritually)
by many members of the organization. I have been through therapy
and am currently pursuing an education in psychology with the goal

several years ago i was in a cong,of jw`s in dayton ohio
we had a new family to move to the cong . they had 4 children . they
were all very obese. the oldest boy impregnated his sis who was
the oldest girl itt was all hushed up the girl went into the hospital
where something happened years later some one told me she aborted. whether
induced i do not know. they were disfellowshipped. the boy went into the
service. where was killed shortly thereafter. our co got up in pulpit
and said now b 4 we judge this ousted bro too harshly [ousted]

to the 'truth' when he got out . how sad

In my former congregation an anointed one was accused
of molesting an entire family. This was suppose to have happened
when they were younger and it finally came out after several years.
This tore the congregation apart. The accused being anointed, and
the accusers being elders and pioneers with an outstanding reputation
in the congregation. The elders handled this and disfellowshipped
the accused. However, nothing was said to the police about this
matter. He is still allowed to come to the kingdom hall and be
around several children. Even the children of those who were molested.
Whatever happened to Megan's Law? Should it not be practiced at
the kh? I guess they will continue to allow this to go on, and
subject many children to this nonsense.

Wish I had someone or some group of people around like
you 10 years ago. My life as well as that of my daughter has forever
been altered by our "exposure" to J. W's. Can't even
bring myself to type the name. I hate them and what they have done
and continue to do to thousands of people especially women. Was
married to a man who was disfellowshipped yet commanded that we
live by the guidelines established by the J W's. He of course,
was excused from abiding by them. He was cruel, inhumane, a definite
pedophile, a violent alcoholic, psychotic, and had a mother who
totally dominated him with guilt and extremely harmful behavior.
She was very instrumental in destruction of what little relationship
we had. Accused my daughter of being the aggressor(at age 10) and
that she was deserving of whatever happened to her. She knew (and
still knows) that her son was and is to this day a sick twisted
demented pervert. He also moves freely about the community in which
he and his mother and the rest of the family live, undetected by
anyone because his mother has covered his stinking tracks for years.
She herself is a convicted murderess. She shot and killed the sons
father while he was asleep in the bed, at point blank range. She
was pregnant at the time with twin boys and claimed he had been
abusing her. Yes, she walks the streets a free person now. By the
way, one of the twin boys committed suicide at age 17, and the other
is a worthless, drunken sot who can't hold his head up. The man
I was married to lives in Concord California, named David Alton
Brown, has an illegitimate son(living with him) who's mother lost
custody of him simply because this sick woman has sooooooooo much
money that she hired several attorney's to get the child, when
in truth she simply wants control over the child. This sick woman's
name is Barbara Walker and is married to Wayne Walker(if he's still
alive) I don't care who knows the truth about them, they are extremely
dangerous people and need to be exposed.

was a silent lamb in my family, I understand the pain and anguish
of childhood sexual abuse. I have lived thru it myself. Silence

Having walked away from J. W. 's after 30 years, many spent
as a Pioneer, Elder and Presiding Overseer, I commend you on your
effort to inform others about the Watchtower Society's tragic attitude
towards pedophiles in their midst and the children they have abused.
In similar actions they are also responsible for the "First
Degree Murder" of many children who are not allowed life-saving

I am very thankful you all created this website.
While I am not a victim, I know of individuals who are. I particularly
am referring to a mother of a child who was abused within the
WT organization.
2 days ago I printed out the 4 page email that Randy Watters
emailed me from Barb Anderson. I brought it to the place of employment
of a woman, who is a former JW. She has become an emotional basket case
over her daughter who was molested by her ex husband while they
were JW's in good standing.
The elders did nothing about it when she went to them over 10
years ago. She is so anger & bitter, understandable so. When
I brought her the email and told her that this was something
that may finally give her a sense of satisfaction and that she
may want to get involved, she cried on the spot.
